Geoff Wilson (Group Managing Director)
Commercial, Development and Asset Finance
Geoff has over 25 years experience working in major asset funding in the Telecommunications, IT and general business environment. Prior to founding the White Rose Group in 2004 Geoff was European MD for US Technology group iPass Inc. and prior to that held senior management roles with Global One, BT and GEC.
Since the mid 90's Geoff has successfully completed a number of high value residential property development projects and brings significant knowledge to the underwriting of such projects. Interests away from work include ecology based travel, natural history and all sports particularly golf and football.

David Fine
Business Manager - Bridging Finance
David graduated from University of Manchester with a Bsc Hons degree in Management in 1993. Combining work, and travel with a desire to be immersed and learn from other cultures David has lived and managed businesses in Hong Kong and Europe, speaking fluent Spanish, basic Japanese, French and Hebrew.
David has worked for a high street bank in the UK as well as a number of private finance businesses and is currently back and residing in the UK for the last three years. His lifelong interest revolves around art, both collecting and painting.
David is head of bridging finance for the practice taking a whole of market approach to status and non-status lending.

Harry Hoy
Business Manager - Property Development Finance
A Londoner by birth Harry is now just about an adopted Yorkshireman having attended Leeds University and living in Yorkshire for the last 30 years. A Chartered Mining and Minerals Engineer by profession Harry has worked all over the world on major mining and civil engineering projects, the largest of which being the multi billion £ Selby mining complex in North Yorkshire. Harry joined White Rose Group at it's inception in 2004 and has an expanding portfolio of clients whom he supports on a broad range of property development and refurbishment projects.
Harry has a passion for travel and regularly visits the game parks of South Africa and his holiday retreat in Northern France, he is also a sports fanatic with a particular interest in Golf, Rugby and Football.

Stuart Woodward
Business Manager - Commercial Mortgage Funding
With over 35 years experience in the brewing business there's not much that Stuart doesn't know about pubs and how to run them! Joining the White Rose Group in 2006 having retired from the Coors group where he held the position of Facilities Director, a role which saw him manage and then ultimately oversee the disposal of Bass Taverns to organisations such as Enterprise and Punch.
Stuart handles the Commercial and Business Mortgage applications for our clients and offers a wealth of practical business knowledge to anyone running or aspiring to own a business. Stuart handles the company’s relationship with over 40 mainstream and specialist Commercial lenders and prides himself on driving the very best bargain possible on behalf of his clients. Away from work interests include golf, fine wines and doting on his recently arrived first grandchild.

Neil Roberts
Associate Partner - Residential and Regulated Mortgages
Neal is a Londoner by birth but also an adopted Yorkshireman by choice, both his parents and football team loyalties being from the county. Neal has enjoyed 35 years in the finance industry, having worked for banks, building societies, and brokers. His experience as a lender and broker in both residential and commercial mortgages has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the market. Neal advises on all types of mortgages, but his niche is dealing with the more complex and adverse credit scenarios.
He has a passion for all things culinary and in particular mushrooms and when he is not watching sport, working or spending time with his family, he regularly holidays in the Ukraine, which is the home country of his wife Alyona.

Peter Vaughan
Associate Partner - French Residential and Commercial Funding
Peter joined the group in 2007 to head up White Rose France, our Toulouse based subsidiary business offering a broad range of Residential and Commercial funding solutions for clients buying in the French market. Peter is a genuine ‘Francophile’ fluent in the language and has lived and worked in France for 18 years. Having worked for a number of major French lending institutions Peter and his team guide our client through all aspects of the French property system.
Married to Marylise who is a practicing lawyer in Tolouse, Peter is also a qualified Private Pilot and likes to spend his free time in the air over South West France.

Ruth Heslop
Assistant Financial Advisor
Ruth is the newest addition to the team having joined in early 2008 as a general assistant to her fellow Finance Consultants. Qualified in Business Studies Ruth's early career was spent in Market Research with several leading national organisations based in Northern England. Following a career break to start her family Ruth is now responsible for the packaging and smooth running to completion of client cases for Commercial and Development funding.
Ruth is an accomplished horsewoman and competes regularly on her trusted steed 'Romeo' at local and regional events including cross country and team pursuits.

Barry Mead
Office and Administration Manager
A chartered Industrial Chemist by profession Barry has spent much of his working life in such exotic locations as the Bahamas and the America's. Returning to the UK in the mid 90's Barry held a senior apointment in the UK Chemical Industry based in the York area. Tempted to try his hand in the Finance business Barry joined the White Rose Group in 2007 and is responsible for all aspects of the company's administration, IT and general smooth running of the office.
Away from work Barry still has the travel bug and he and wife Anne like to visit more exotic locations whenever possible. He is also very keen on cooking and growing his own vegetables.

Lesley Wilson
Accounts and Payroll Manager
Joining the group at it's inception in 2004 Lesley is responsible for ensuring everyone gets paid which seems to make her a popular person in the office with staff and suppliers alike!
Lesley is also a qualified and practicing Human Givens Counsellor and Life Coach and manages her very hectic schedule with consummate ease. This also includes her other passion in life – animals, owning 2 horses, 2 dogs and a cat which all demand regular attention.
