A University graduate, I have worked in the financial services industry for over 15 years, starting out in Glasgow in 1995 with Friends Provident as an Authorised Financial Adviser before moving to Edinburgh, and the newly formed Standard Life Bank, in 1999.
In 2002 I joined the self-build specialists Buildstore to help them set up an Intermediary division, Buildloan, and then in 2004 I joined Bank of Scotland Corporate, working in their commercial lending division, and managing a portfolio of about 250 SME’s. I left the bank in May 2010 to set up as in independent commercial finance broker.
While I am happy to consider all areas of commercial finance, my areas of specialisation include Property Development and lending to the SME market.
Although I have spent nearly 12 years living and working in Edinburgh, I was born in Yorkshire and am happy to be coming home. Away from the office I am an avid sports fan particularly rugby, both union and league, and cricket.
