A qualified Engineer by training, Simon has previously worked his way up via apprenticeship through to a Senior Management role in the international Aerospace Industry. Successfully developing and managing multi-million £ contracts and running a team of 30 + engineers, Simon has built a very strong affinity to the SME business community and particularly the engineering and manufacturing sectors.  

Simon has also operated as an independent financial advisor with a key specialism being commercial funding. This involved both the identification of appropriate lending institutions and the provision of support to the customer in the generation of documentation and justifications required to support the funding application.

An accredited Landlord Simon runs a  Bristol based property portfolio business which was actually started by his father 50 years ago (who is now 94 now and still going strong !)

With a very broad depth of experience Simon understands the specific commercial pressures and funding needs across a wide range of industries and looks forward to working with clients  in the generation of bespoke funding solutions that will enable hard pressed businesses to successfully trade and expand during these testing times.

Bristol born and bred and married to wife Lorraine, away from work interests and hobbies include travel, good food, cycling, motor cycling, classic cars and  currently in the latter stages of flying training towards his national Private Pilots Licence.
